This is an abstract for a presentation given at the
1st Conference on Advanced Nanotechnology:
Research, Applications, and Policy

Boolean Networks (BN) have been studied as a modeling tool in biology. The purpose of this paper is using BN as a modeling tool to model, simulate and analyze the process of protein production, from DNA to protein via RNA. This process is composed of three major transitions from one state to another such as replication, transcription, and translation. Each one has its regulations, states, and interconnections as BN model does. The suggested model using BN in this paper is easy to understand and visualize.
