Light-Driven Molecular Qubits
With Alberto Privitera
Quantum technologies are set to transform the way we live, work, and understand the world. At the heart of these technologies lies the qubit, the fundamental unit of quantum information. Molecules offer a compelling platform for qubit implementation by exploiting their electron and nuclear spins, enabling atomic-level control over magnetic, optical, and electronic properties, together with highly reproducible fabrication.
Despite these advantages, molecular qubits – like most quantum technologies – still face major challenges, including operation at sub-kelvin temperatures and the controlled scaling to multiqubit architectures. In this webinar, Alberto will illustrate how the use of light in molecularly engineered qubits can open a promising route toward more accessible, scalable, and versatile quantum technologies.
