Building Foundational Subcellular Spatial Biology Infrastructure for Tomorrow’s Spatial Intelligence
Current AI models for biology know what molecules are in a cell, but not how they’re spatially organized and orchestrated inside it. However, many diseases arise from failures of the subcellular spatial organization and orchestration. Sagar Khavnekar and the team at Subspatial are building one of the largest subcellular spatial biology open datasets of human immune cells, and training an AI foundation model to learn how they organize themselves internally.
