Monika Shpokayte

I defended my PhD in neuroscience from Boston University Medical School in June ’22 after only 3 years. I have published numerous papers with the most recent one in Nature Communications. Prior to my PhD I worked at Biogen in Research and Early Development department working on Alzheimer’s Disease and ALS. Additionally, during graduate school I completed the BU catalyst program and was a Venture Fellow at Qiming Ventures USA. Since my defense, I have joined Cognito therapeutics, working directly for the CSO to direct and manager the scientific direction of the company through academic and pharma partnerships.
