Brandon Sayler

I’m interested in AI Safety: an interdisciplinary field that seeks to mitigate accidents, misuse, or other harmful consequences from AI systems. Thus, I’m primarily interested in roles where I can improve my skills in technical governance research, machine learning, and formal verification. I’m also interested in roles where I can improve my writing, communication, and management skills.

I’m an incoming ARENA 8.0 Scholar.

Previously, I was a GovAI Winter Fellow, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where I was a QuestBridge Scholar (FGLI), I was a Technical AI Governance Fellow at ERA Cambridge, I’ve held a variety of leadership positions, completed research in astronomy and programming languages, and had the opportunity to explore management consulting at Bain & Company.
