Manish Chamoli

I’m Founding Partner at LongGame Ventures, an early-stage fund in aging biology. I partner with founders working on the problems I’ve spent my career investigating.

I earned my PhD in the biology of aging and spent nearly a decade at the Buck Institute. My research focused on the core mechanisms of cellular aging and their translation into drug discovery. I authored 30+ papers, including in journals like Nature Aging, Science, Cell Metabolism, and PNAS, and mentored 20+ early-career scientists along the way.

That research led me to co-found Symbiont Bio, a small-molecule discovery startup targeting mitochondrial dysfunction built on work published in Nature Aging. We didn’t raise enough to get far, but having been on the other side of that table is the most useful thing I bring to this work.
