I am interested in building tools to study biology and enable early-stage disease detection and intervention. Currently, I am an R&D engineer in Shawn Douglas’s laboratory at UCSF, working on methods to expand DNA nanotechnology from the mesoscale to the microscale. Previously, I did my PhD work in wireless, implantable neurotechnology with Michel Maharbiz at UC Berkeley and my postdoctoral training in DNA nanotechnology with Shawn Douglas at UCSF. I am interested in craftsmanship and outside my nanotechnology research, I contribute to Dynamicland and the vision of a molecular makerspace. I love a good cup of coffee.
