Josh Bongard

Josh Bongard is Veinott Professor of Computer Science at the University of Vermont and directs the Morphology, Evolution & Cognition Lab. He works on automated design of soft-, evolved-, crowdsourced-, and biological robots. A TR35 and Cozzarelli Prize winner, he has received funding from NSF, NASA, DARPA, ARO, and Sloan. He co-authored How The Body Shapes the Way We Think, created a reddit-based robotics MOOC, and runs the outreach program Twitch Plays Robotics.
