Jason is a high-school student and independent AI governance researcher. He previously served as a visiting fellow at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research (UNU-CPR), and wrote a report on the UN’s role in governing foundation models. He’s also interned at Conjecture, the Singapore Government, and the Future of Life Institute. In his spare time, he jointly authors the Economics blog Model Thinking with Duncan McClements and runs Singapore’s National Economics Olympiad. He is an Atlas Fellow and Emergent Ventures winner.
