What I Am: I am a musical composer, an AI scientist investigating the fundamental properties of cognition in light of what we understand about the brain, an artist developing existential AI safety technologies to preserve infrastructure critical to human society, and above all else a human being and thus a philosopher. Current Work and Past Progress: Co-Founder of Myelin Neurotech, researcher at the Zhongming Liu neuroimaging lab to investigate the design of functional modularity in AI, former Co-Founder of Pink Inference (now advisor), 1517 Medici Grant Recipient for EEG/VR gaming systems, 1517 Invisible College Recipient, Emergent Venture Recipient to run Myelin Hacker House. Also works independently on better LLM text-gen tracking technology and tools for tracking semiotic viruses spread mimetically through social media.
