I work at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and government. While Silicon Valley and Washington DC are geographically and figuratively far apart, I work to bridge the two.

Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and Washington DC policy makers both want to tackle the biggest issues facing our society. For me, that issue is unemployment.

At IQT, I lead venture investments in startups to help the US Government find workers, train their employees, and empower their staff to be productive. As a startup founder, I built a tech company to help people find and get jobs. At LinkedIn, I led the product marketing team for LinkedIn’s job seeker business. As a White House Fellow, I worked with the US Labor Secretary to build artificial intelligence algorithms to match veterans to jobs. As a volunteer at Year Up, I mentored youth to reach their career potential.

Large societal problems require all sectors — public, private, nonprofit — to come together to solve; which is why I work at the intersection of tech, startups, and government to tackle these issues.
