Borys Wrobel

Borys Wróbel is now a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Nectome, a company doing research on high quality animal and human whole brain/body ultrastructural preservation.

Borys graduated from the University of Gdansk (Poland) in 1997, was a Fulbright Visiting Researcher in the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego, CA, and later FEBS and EMBO Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Valencia, and Sciex Fellow in the Institute of Neuroinformatics at the University of Zurich and ETHZ (Switzerland). He is an alumnus of The Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Global Young Academy.
