Kyle Griffin

Kyle Giffin is Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of LatchBio, a San Francisco-based biotechnology company building cloud-based infrastructure for bioinformatics and biocomputing. He studied cognitive neuroscience and data science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was also involved in neurotechnology research.

In 2021, Giffin co-founded LatchBio with Alfredo Andere and Kenny Workman to make data analysis and computing more accessible to life-science researchers. The company has raised more than $33 million in funding and supports biotechnology research and development through its computational platform. His work also includes growing interest in the intersection of artificial intelligence and biosecurity.
