Maddalena Adorno

Maddalena Adorno is a scientist, biotech entrepreneur, and investor with expertise in stem cells, oncology, aging, and regenerative medicine.

Her research at Stanford University helped uncover mechanisms involved in cellular aging, and she later co-founded Dorian Therapeutics, where she led the development of therapeutics aimed at restoring tissue function and targeting age-related disease. Dorian Therapeutics was acquired by Altos Labs in 2025.

She is currently Operating Partner at the BioInnovation Institute (BII), where she supports early-stage life-science companies and helps translate scientific discoveries into scalable biotechnology ventures.
