Pete Worden

Dr. S. “Pete” Worden is a retired USAF Brigadier General and former Director of NASA Ames Research Center who currently serves as the Executive Director of the Breakthrough Initiatives and Chairman of the Breakthrough Prize Foundation. He leads private, high-profile scientific programs focused on searching for life in the universe and interstellar exploration, notably Breakthrough Starshot.
