Peter Schlecht

My life goal is to increase the chance of a promising future.

An entrepreneur building a new consumer neurotech company.

I founded a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) company that developed a deep-brain stimulation (DBS) implant for Alzheimer’s patients, leading a team that included more than 20 professors and founders from top BCI firms, such as Blackrock Neurotech, Neuralink, and Paradromics.

I serve as an Advisor to the German government on BCI strategies, on BrainMind’s Neuroethics Advisory Board, and as the project lead for BCI Data Formats at iBCI-CC, collaborating with the FDA. Additionally, I contribute to the ISO and DIN working groups for BCI standardization.

My first venture was a GenAI solution for Customer Success and Sales, which evolved from a sales agency that scaled over 200 B2B SaaS companies, including notable names such as Twilio, Deutsche Börse, and Microsoft, culminating in an exit to a telco solutions provider.

I’m grateful to be part of communities such as BrainMind, the BCI Society, Mensa, the Society for Neuroscience, and Founders Pledge. Giving back as a mentor to entrepreneurs at institutions such as Singularity University, Techstars, and the Founder Institute.

As a core angel at Springboard Health Angels and LP, I invest in deep tech, health tech, and neurotech ventures from the pre-seed through early growth stages, fueling innovation for a bright future.
