Rich Phillips

I’ve had the privilege to work with companies, governments, founders, scientists, engineers, and visionary leaders building some of the most consequential technologies of our time. Across space exploration, energy, AI, cloud, semiconductors, telecom, autonomy, and now neurotechnology, my purpose has remained consistent: helping advance solutions that break down barriers, improve lives, and expand human capability.

I’m drawn to moments when technology opens possibilities before the market, public, or institutions fully understand them. In those moments, leadership and narrative help people see not only what a technology does, but how it can expand knowledge, discovery, connection, agency, and hope.

I am now Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Paradromics, helping lead the narrative for the highest-data-rate brain-computer interface technology in the world. This role brings together frontier science, platform technology, trust, human agency, and the responsibility to communicate clearly about a field with the potential to restore speech, mobility, independence, and connection for people living with severe motor impairment. For me, Paradromics is an opportunity to bring the most advanced technology closer to one of the most human goals imaginable: enabling people to communicate, act, create, connect with the people they love, and more fully express who they are.

Before Paradromics, I led CEO communications for AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su during a defining period of AI-driven growth and data-center expansion. Earlier, I worked with NASA, SpaceX, Boeing, Cisco, and other organizations helping shape the future of exploration, connectivity, infrastructure, and technological progress.

I believe the technologies that matter most are often the hardest to explain. My work is to make the complex clear, the technical human, and the ambitious credible, so important ideas can earn trust and become part of how people live, communicate, explore, and imagine a better future.
