Driven, goal-oriented leader seeking to bridge the gap between the research lab and the clinic through personal effort and investment in commercialization of high impact discoveries. Dedicated to the development of tools and therapies to extend cognitive lifespan and treat or even prevent neurodegenerative diseases.

My foundational longevity interests include the development of tools for high resolution biomarkers to allow rapid testing of aging interventions, and determining the contribution of various organs and systems to aging of the CNS. Working with an incredibly talented co-founder, Xciton Biosystems is prototyping a simpler digital ELISA method in order to enable low-cost self-testing of hormones, viral titers, and inflammatory cytokines.

My background in biochemistry, neuroscience, biosensor development, molecular biology, semiconductor engineering, angel investing, and entrepreneurship offers unique perspectives on challenging problems.
