Sreeram Kannan

Sreeram is the Founder and CEO at Eigen Labs.

He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Washington, where his academic work has spanned machine learning, information theory, algorithms, distributed systems, cryptography, game theory, and artificial intelligence. Prior to founding Eigen Labs, Sreeram earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and held research roles at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, including as a visiting Ph.D. student and visiting Postdoctoral Researcher.

With deep academic and technical expertise across AI, information systems, and decentralized protocols, Sreeram has been instrumental in advancing the foundations for verifiable, scalable computation. His work sits at the intersection of intelligence, coordination, and trust, themes that are increasingly central in a PostAGI world where autonomous agents and digital systems require stronger guarantees around provenance, integrity, and verification.
