Xiao Zhang

I am a software engineer at Google Cloud and a research collaborator at Vector Institute. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto Engineering Science program, majoring in Machine Intelligence, and I continue to work with Prof. Zhijing Jin.

My research interests lie in multi-agent systems, interpretability, and understanding how and why AI and LLM agents behave in particular ways. Currently, I am working on evaluating Gmail AI agent quality at Google and building cooperative mechanisms for LLM agents.
