Georgios is an assistant professor and consultant radiologist at the Technical University of Munich where he work at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and the Institute of Radiology. He also lead OpenMined Research. Georgios obtained his medical and doctoral degrees from LMU Munich, his Master’s in Business Administration for Healthcare from FAU Nuremberg and his radiology board certification at TU Munich. He did a postdoc in AI for medical imaging at the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, where he remain as a Research Associate. His research interests revolve around secure and private artificial intelligence, specifically differential privacy, and their applications in the domain of medicine and radiology in particular.
