The 4th International Conference on carbon nanotechnology and space elevator systems, currently happening Dec. 4-5, 2010 in Luxembourg, will focus on the first day on exploiting the unique mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes to facilitate the space elevator. The second day will cover new research on the space elevator system and highlight climber contests.
