Foresight Conference on Molecular Nanotechnology
The program "NanoBionic Constructor" has been elaborated for the of atoms' coordinates generation in the carbon nanoclusters. The program constructs clusters using their natural parameters: the number of atoms, rows, planes, atoms in row. It allows to construct different types of nanoclusters: diamond, graphite, tubulene, fullerene, diamond-en, diamond-in and diamond-ar. Diamond-en, diamond-in and diamond-ar are three new forms of carbon clusters that we suggested in the work [S. V. Kozyrev, D. V. Leshchev, I. V. Shakleina On the energy stability of carbon nanoclusters. Ph. of Sol.St. V. 43, No 5, 2001, pp. 963-966]. Carbon atoms are combining by triple, double, aromatic and single bonds in these types of clusters. There are wide perspectives for their using in the nanoelectronic devices.
