A remote-controlled nanorobot performs a restorative dental procedure on a patient’s tooth. As an aid to visualization, the artist has depicted the dental nanorobot about 1000 times larger than actual size. This artwork originally appeared on the front cover of the November 2000 issue of the Journal of the American Dental Association.
