A nanorobot is at work in the human brain, replacing or augmenting human nerve cells with artificial (nanorobotic) nerve cells. As shown here, the nanorobot has docked to a neuron synapse and extended octopus-like arms around the neuronal connectors. (This is a still image from an HD animation that will air in 2006 on European public television as part of a 3-hour transhumanist documentary entitled “Beyond Man”.)
