Dean Thomas is a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow with Professor Lee Cronin, specializing in Digital Chemistry and automation. After his Master’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Manchester, he undertook a PhD with Professor David Leigh, exploring the applications of fuelled, artificial molecular machines. His research interests encompass the fundamental advancements of supramolecular chemistry, reaction catalysis and autonomous synthesis platforms. When combined, these technologies have innovative applications in medicinal chemistry, materials discovery, and automated safety.
