Jake works with non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, with the goal of modulating human brain activity without drugs or surgery. Currently, Jake is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, his current research focuses on using transcranial ultrasound stimulation. During his PhD at the University of Sheffield, his research focused on transcranial electrical stimulation and electroencephalography. His doctoral work included developing an accessible approach for standardized transcranial electrical stimulation dosing and an investigation into the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation on vigilant attention.
