Max Langenkamp works at the intersection of biosecurity and public health. At SecureDNA, he leads the policy and hardware initiative to develop security standards for DNA benchtop synthesizers. As a research affiliate at MIT, he studies computational approaches to modeling the onset and resolution of chronic pain. Previously, he has served in technical and policy roles at In-Q-Tel, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), and the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). His work focuses on leveraging emerging technologies to address complex challenges in human health and security.
