The 2007 Foresight Vision Weekend Unconference ended yesterday, and so far the comments are excellent. Many people helped to make it happen:
Sponsors: Thanks to Pam Bailey of tinytechjobs and Brian Lundquist of Nanotechnology Now. Special thanks to Salim Ismail of Yahoo for approving the donation of their beautiful conference center and to Cindy Van Wassenhove of Yahoo for large amounts of coordination help.
Volunteers: Thanks to Matt Bell, Ann Harrison, Jacob Heller, Eugene Kim, and Chip Morningstar for bringing projectors. Thanks to David Friedman, Matt Francis, and Chris Heward for warming us up for the unconference portion by giving plenary talks. Thanks to Rob Tow for doing a huge amount of work on the wiki. Thanks to Susan Fonseca-Klein and Chip Morningstar for tireless assistance at the meeting itself. Thanks to Brad Templeton for suggesting that we have an unconference originally, and arranging the venue donation. Thanks to Drew Reynolds and Bruce Klein for taking videos for Foresight.
Staff: Thanks to Jim Lewis for doing the unconference website, to Ben Harper for setting up the wiki and helping with A/V. Thanks to Kaliya Hamlin for Open Space unconference facilitation. Thanks to Dr. Pearl Chin for emceeing. Special thanks to Alicia Isaac for immense amounts of work before and at the meeting.
Most everyone at an unconference chips in to help somehow or other. Apologies to any major contributors not mentioned above. Hope to see you all next year! —Christine Peterson, Unconference Unchair
