Gaming the Future: The Book!

BEYOND THE FUTURE OF WORK

+ last week’s video: Biology as Inspiration for Design and Engineering

REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE

Next Thursday, 11 am PDT/ 8 pm CEST, we will have the pleasure to host B Cavello for a conversation about the changes happening with work today and exploring visions for where we want things to go. Bring your data-grounded predictions and outlandish aspirations to envision possible futures for transforming our relationship with work.

B Cavello is a Program Lead at the Partnership on AI (PAI), a non-profit multi-stakeholder initiative focused on advancing the benefits and addressing the challenges of machine intelligence. PAI was founded by Amazon, Apple, DeepMind, Facebook, Google, IBM, and Microsoft in partnership with leading academic and civil society organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the MacArthur Foundation, and OpenAI.

B leads PAI research in areas such as fairness, transparency, AI’s impact on labor, and works closely with PAI Partner organizations.

They previously worked at IBM and Exploding Kittens and host a salon series called the Cyberspace Salon discussing the future of social technologies.

Foresight’s weekly salons:

Our community meets weekly on Thursdays at 11 AM PT / 8 PM CEST to explore cutting edge topics & undercover science.

We leave ample time for discussion and socializing so you can meet the brilliant speakers and fellow participants in breakout rooms.

Feeling like leading an inspiring salon or taking us into a deep-dive with your presentation? Nothing would have us more excited: you can apply to be a speaker, using this form.

Check out the video recordings of salons we have hosted so far here.
