Congratulations toĀ Shuntaro Amano, who was recently published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). The paper explores a simple way of chemically driving systems out of equilibrium, which will surely be useful for developing new molecular machines.

Dmitrii UsyninĀ is a researcher at Imperial College London. Dmitriiās recent paper, “Memorisation in Machine Learning: A Unified Perspective,” has been accepted at TMLR.

Dmitrii discusses the history of memorisation in ML and provides the first unified perspective on what memorisation is and, more importantly, on what memorisation isnāt. This survey aims at people with a basic understanding of ML and does not require in-depth knowledge of advanced ML concepts.
