I’m one of the cofounders at Itemfarm where we build the Orchard. An Orchard is a compact microfactory that brings manufacturing from the industrial space into your community through 3D printing, plastic recycling, and other cool processes in a form factor built for stores, classrooms, and museums.

Today we have Orchards at retail stores, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, and schools. Kids learn real manufacturing skills, organizations get a single-machine circular economy, and companies get a visible, working answer to “what are you doing to help your community.”
If you run programs at a school, nonprofit, or community organization, or you’re on the corporate side looking at recycling and STEM partnerships, I’m happy to talk.

Outside Itemfarm I founded Small Steps & Giant Leaps, a 100,000-member space industry community. I think local manufacturing matters on Earth first, and eventually everywhere else.
