Alex Gilbert
Alex Gilbert is an expert in the commercialization, innovation, and regulation of advanced natural resource and energy technologies. He is the Director of Space & Planetary Regulation at Zeno Power, leading nuclear safety and mission approvals for radioisotope power systems in cislunar, deep space, and oceanic applications. Previously, Alex was at the Nuclear Innovation Alliance, catalyzing advanced fission innovation for carbon emissions mitigation. He is a fellow at the Payne Institute for Public Policy at the Colorado School of Mines and Adjunct Faculty at Johns Hopkins University. Alex is a PhD candidate in Space Resources at the Colorado School of Mines, studying lunar resource governance and space environmental protection, with his dissertation focusing on astronaut nuclear safety.
