Dr. Lurong Pan
Dr. Lurong Pan, CEO and founder of Ainnocence, possesses over 15 years of expertise in computational drug design. Her educational background includes an applied chemistry degree from Nanjing University, a master’s in artificial intelligence from Georgia Tech, a PhD in computational chemistry with postdoctoral research in structural biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham(UAB). Dr. Pan was the Director of computational sciences of the Integrated System Center at UAB, enhancing interdisciplinary biomedical research. She also served as a Senior Investigator at the Global Health Drug Discovery Institute, a collaboration between the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Tsinghua University, focusing on AI-driven drug discovery for global health. In 2021, Dr. Pan established Ainnocence, introducing an innovative, energy-efficient AI platform to transform early drug discovery, specializing in small molecule and biologics drug design and optimization.
