Abstract:
Data is a critical raw material in the construction of AI. And, like any component in a high stakes supply chain, it’s also a point of leverage. How that leverage is used, or exploited, is a key to safe, reliable, and equitable AI systems. Fortunately, libraries have thoughts. https://institutionaldatainitiative.org/
