Biographical and Professional Information:

Immersion Studios specializes in large format interactive digital entertainment, including immersive digital worlds.

Immersion Studios was co-founded in March 1997 by New Media visionary Stacey Spiegel and designer/software inventor Dr. Rodney Hoinkes. Although "visionary" is often an overused term in New Media, the Canadian New Media Awards gave Stacey the 2002 Visionary of the Year Award. Rodney is an early leader in visualization software design and his products are in use at many of the world's leading universities and colleges.

Immersion Studios is the world-leading producer of group interactive, immersive media experiences. "Our content astounds audiences through the use of the latest high-definition digital hardware technology. But there is more: our innovative, proprietary software provides audience members with a unique interactive group experience. Dr. Robert Ballard — the man who found the Titanic and launched the JASON education project — has called our Immersion Exhibit the 'classroom of the future'."
