We at Foresight are often get inquiries from those who wish to invest in nanotechnology stocks and want advice. Unfortunately, we cannot give investment advice, but we can report on nano investment vehicles as they emerge. There is now a new nanotechnology-oriented Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), reported in Smalltimes: “Lux Research Inc., a nanotechnology research and advisory firm, announced a partnership with PowerShares Capital Management LLC to introduce the PowerShares Lux Nanotech Portfolio (pdf), a nanotechnology Exchange Traded Fund, or ETF. The companies said they expect the fund to begin trading on the American Stock Exchange on October 26 under the symbol PXN. The fund is designed to track the Lux Nanotech Index, which includes 26 public companies. It is rebalanced and reconstituted on a quarterly basis.”

Competitor Darrell Brookstein commented negatively here and here. I just wish I had the personal investment funds to care who’s right! —Christine
