Thank you for caring about advancing technological progress for the benefit of life.
As 2022 is ending and Giving Tuesday is almost here, we would love to share our progress this year and what your support can accomplish in 2023.
As you can tell from this 2022 progress report, thanks to many of you, we were able to accelerate our support for those working on tech for the benefit of life:
We held 50+ seminars per month, hosted 3 workshops, shared our community’s progress at 20+ conferences and 10+ virtual interviews, launched 1 prize, created 5 tech trees, published 1 book, and exhibited 10+ art pieces to inspire positive futures through technology. Finally, our 2023 fellowship applications doubled from 2022, with a focus on early bio, nano, neuro, computing, space tech. Some brilliant candidates are still in their teens or very early careers, and many international candidates are seeking US opportunities.
We’d love to build on this progress in 2023 by continuing to grow our seminars, workshops, prizes, and fellowship but are funding-constrained in the current economic situation.
This Giving Tuesday, please support us in supporting this community:
You fund the work of our Existential Hope Group, inviting top minds across technologies to explore how high-impact technologies can lead to improved futures.
⇒ Renew your Senior Associate support to join Foresight’s monthly XHope seminars in 2022.
⇒ Support us on a Patron level to receive an invitation to our monthly virtual seminars, our personal longevity group, and annual in person workshops in each domain, including smaller patron & speaker gatherings.
