Hello Foresight Community,
Thrilled to have kicked off 2023! Our agenda is already jam-packed and the team looks forward to collaborating closely with all of you.
We have now officially onboarded our 60+ big 2023 Fellowship cohort, and are excited to see how their networks, projects, and goals progress throughout the year ahead. We certainly have some talented individuals with mighty ambitions, so please take the time to familiarize yourselves with the new faces in our community. https://foresight.org/foresight-fellowships/
We are also pleased to officially launch our new Prodigy Fellowship, which comprises young individuals of exceptional talent. If you, or your organization have opportunities for these bright minds, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with [email protected]
We’d really love your help in ensuring that their year with us is as immersive and impactful as possible. Perhaps you have an internship available? A special project? A mentoring spot open up?
And, if you haven’t already seen, we have an incredible lineup at our upcoming Existential Hope Day Workshop in San Francisco (February 27th at The Institute, San Francisco). Expect to mingle with and learn from great minds intent on creating a positive impact such as Toby Ord, Tamara Winter, and Riva Tez – to name a few. Tickets can be acquired here:
https://foresight.org/foresight-existential-hope-day-2023/ (don’t delay as seats are limited and there are only 50 spots left!)
For those in our Longevity and Neurotech communities, we encourage you to start sending in your applications to attend our upcoming Workshops.
Find out more about the Speakers, Program, and Application Process below
April 17-18th, 2023, The Institute, San Francisco, USA
May 22-23rd, 2023, venue outside of Oxford, United Kingdom
Those interested in attending our WBE Workshop in the United Kingdom, please be warned, the building capacity is limited to 34 individuals. Meaning, the sooner you send your application in, the higher the chance you have at being selected (no pressure) 🙂
I’d also like to touch on a few changes to the Foresight Team of late.
Niamh Peren is stepping into the role of Chief Program Officer.
Aaron King’s passion will be furthered in the role of Researcher for our Longevity Tech Tree.
Lydia La Roux will join the team as my Executive Assistant. So please connect with her at [email protected] if you’re trying to get my attention; we all know how busy I can be 😉
And, I’d like to thank Edda Stenzel and Finan Adamson for their brilliant energy and commitment to Foresight Institute. It’s been such a pleasure working with you both. We look forward to seeing you at future Foresight Events. Thank you both for all your hard work.
I’m excited to see our Foresight Community at our upcoming Workshops!
Best,
Allison
