VISION WEEKEND 2021, DEC 4-5 (US) & DEC 11-12 (EUROPE)
Once a year, we invite Foresight’s top fellows, mentors, keynotes, funders, and members to coordinate on the main technology breakthroughs across our biotech, nanotech and computer science working groups. We discuss how to accelerate progress toward beneficial futures, and burst those tech silos to collaborate across disciplines, nations and generations.
This year for the first time, we gather this now international community with hybrid festivities across continents. Join us for a fast-forward dip into flourishing futures across different hubs in San Francisco, a castle in France, and in cyberspace.
Starting with our San Francisco event on Saturday and Sunday, December 4 & 5, 2021, and closing with our France event on Saturday and Sunday, Dec 11 & 12, you can join us in either — or both? — locations, or attend the cyberspace layer only.
Your ticket automatically gives you access to our virtual community that allows asynchronous collaboration with the Foresight community across continents. It doesn’t stop at Vision Weekend: this event is but the kick-off of ourcontinuous 2022 program. This means that the friends you meet and make will be collaborating with you throughout the next year as we chart flourishing futures in biotech, nanotech, neurotech, computing, and space together. We’re cooking up a program that is peppered with surprises, both in cyberspace and in-person!
As Associate member, you can choose the daytime option to join us for Saturday’s program at the Internet Archive in San Francisco.
As Ally member, you are additionally invited to join Saturday’s VIP dinner at a private home in SF, and Sunday’s small group sessions on a ship, and in a rocket company around SF.
We invite you to a unique experience, hosted at Château du Fey, Villecien, France. (in collaboration with San Francisco parallel event)
Located 90 minutes from Paris in the hills of Burgundy, the 17th century Château du Feÿ is a laboratory to experiment with ways of connecting that can be a model for the future. It is a place of possibility, of ground breaking and blueprint making, of bridging worlds and ideas.
Associate pass gives you access to the day program of Saturday the 4th, Ally pass (limited) includes two nights at the chateau, from Friday to Sunday, to participate in the full gathering and enjoy the special place.
This year, Vision Weekend is also happening in cyberspace, and Foresight’s community becomes AI powered. After each talk, participants will be able to meet, communicate and collaborate, from anywhere in the universe (as long as they registered for the event).
As an Associate, you can meet minds like yours from around the globe in cyberspace. Launching at Vision Weekend, and continuing throughout 2022, we invite you to join our cyberspace layer for virtual seminars, collaborations and community.
