Do you ever wonder why it’s not everyone’s number one priority to fight the slow, unnecessarily painful, age-ridden death that we all eventually face?
Do you think the quest for a longer, healthier life is crazy, unethical, or hopeless?
Do you suspect that the reason why you refrain from dreaming up how marvelous an extended healthspan may be is due to the existential dread awaiting you upon accepting how bad death actually is?
Are you devoted to recruiting friends and family to support longevity research, sign up to cryonics, practice Caloric Restriction, etc?
If any of the above sounds like you, we invite you for an evening of Longevity Myth-Busting.
Allison Duettmann will challenge Aubrey De Grey with the top objections against longevity to be debunked and debated before opening up the floor to the public.
The goal is to create a comprehensive Longevity FAQ that tackles all things longevity from boredom and meaning, saving lives and living forever, fate and freedom of choice, overpopulation and social disparities, opportunities and risks, investment and commercialization – to tips and tricks for those who want a positive, long life.
Longevity skeptics and evangelists alike, please bring your best questions, arguments, and strategies for a healthy debate!
