$3000? Are we sure we want to highlight that??
3/3 for our AI Safety Grants: we're excited to fund projects relating to Neurotechnology, Whole Brain Emulation and lo-fi Uploading for AI safety 🧠 And are excited to work with some of the best in the field!
1: WBE as a potential technology that may generate software intelligence which is human-aligned simply by being based directly on human brains
2: Lo-fi approaches to uploading (e.g. extensive lifetime video of an organism that could be used to train a model of that organism without referring to biological brain data)
3: Other neuroscience and neurotech approaches to AI safety (e.g. BCI development for AI safety)
4: Other concrete approaches / General scoping/mapping opportunities
