2022 Longevity Prizes, Tools, Tech Tree Workshop

There are many areas within longevity that could benefit from support that is invisible to the growing amount of outside funding and talent that is entering the space.

This two-day event invites Foresight’s Biotech & Health Extension Group’s top researchers, entrepreneurs, and funders to highlight undervalued areas for progress.

Format

In plenaries and smaller groups, we collect, categorize and refine challenges of common interest to create a curated collection for talent and funders, present at the workshop and beyond, to take on. Proposed focus areas include novel computational approaches, lab automation, surgical robots, biomarker standardization, biostasis, extracellular matrix stiffening, prize design, and more. Including mentorship hours, socials, and open breakout-spaces. A full agenda will be provided to participants.

What to expect

In addition to learning about undervalued opportunities for progress relevant to your field, and forming lasting collaborations with other leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and funders around shared goals, we hope this workshop will generate direction and drive toward shared long-term goals. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
