As we step into 2024, your continued support is vital. You are an integral part of our community of brilliant scientists and technologists, pushing the boundaries of human capability.

With your generosity, these are some of the ways we envision driving technological progress across our Biotech, Nanotech, Neurotech, Space, Computation, and Existential Hope programs in 2024: 

• Allocate enhanced travel funding to our selected 2024 Foresight Fellows, presenting more opportunities for their collaborative and research endeavors. This builds on our 2023 success, where we supported 78 Fellows working to overcome crucial scientific bottlenecks. This year, due to budget constraints, we could only accept 30% of applicants into our Fellowship program. Looking ahead to next year, when we review our potential 2025 cohort, our aim is to be able to accommodate more highly talented Fellows, responding to exploding Fellowship applications and substantial oversubscription of the program.
• Expanding upon the support we currently offer our Fellows, it would be great to present small in-house seed support to develop their projects rather than just matchmaking our Fellows with external funders. 
• To be able to host follow-on workshops in 2024 from our Longevity Frontiers, Cryptography and Security Applications for AI Safety, Whole Brain Emulation, Molecular Machine Systems Design, Space Frontiers, and Existential Hope Day, we seek funding for travel grants for junior participants and for development grants to incentivize working groups to collaborate on their project proposals post-workshop. 
• Update our future seminar quality to align with their growing online influence. Our seminars have evolved into major virtual Schelling Points for our existing communities, enabling practitioners across the globe to stay up to date on new advances, find collaborators, and present their successes. To sustain our progress and continue to extend our reach, we need to update the entire pipeline, from onboarding leading presenters to enhancing seminar production, and improving promotion strategies. In order to do this, we need to allocate funding to these goals.
• With increased funding, our aim is to expand our prize giving beyond our four current prizes – our Feynman Prizes, the Norm Hardy Prize for Usable Security, The Longevity Prize, and the Lander Challenge. This expansion will allow us to launch new prize proposals in each of our focus areas, further incentivizing innovation and excellence in these fields.
• We would like to be able to grow our existing AI Safety Grant to be able to fund more worthy applicants, as well as offer grants within our other focus areas.
