Our Workshop Philosophy
Our ultimate research focus is on the long-term flourishing of life and the biosphere. However, we acknowledge that it’s a long way and that there are many important problems that we face today. This is why our technical workshops invite researchers at the intersection of two or more disciplines to generate new research projects that have a positive impact already in the here and now.
Integrated Molecular Machines: From Materials to Nanosystems
Specialists in target applications collaborated with those tackling the challenges of atomically-precise 3D structures and molecular machines, including construction pathways using chemistry, applied physics, biochemistry, molecular biology, and engineering.
Atomic Precision for Healthspan & Longevity
A multidisciplinary group of specialists in healthspan and longevity research will collaborate with those tackling the challenges of atomically-precise 3D structures and molecular machines, including construction pathways using chemistry, applied physics, biochemistry, molecular biology, and engineering.
Report and individual project proposals coming soon.
AI for Atomic Precision: Design Software for Molecular Machines
This two-day, fast-paced interactive workshop in Silicon Valley, targeted at generating new insights, new projects, and especially new funding for the goal of applying advanced computer science to the challenges of atomic precision.
See video for NanoMind as an example of the proposals that were originated at this workshop.

Advancing Beneficial Nanotechnology: Focusing on the Cutting Edge. The 13th Foresight Conference on Advanced Nanotechnology was held Oct 22-27, 2005.
1st Conference on Advanced Nanotechnology: Research, Applications, and Policy. The 1st in the series of Conferences on Advanced Nanotechnology: Research, Applications, and Policy was held Oct. 21-24, 2004, Crystal City Marriott Hotel (Washington, DC Area).
In contrast to other Foresight conferences, which are technical conferences for researchers, the First General Conference was targeted a more general audience. Later, the Senior Associate Gatherings, such as the one held October 18-20, 1996, have afforded opportunities for members to hear about nanotechnology in a less formal environment.
Second Conference on Molecular Nanotechnology– 1991
